

Restorative Aquaculture brings more oysters into the Great South Bay and provides substantial ecological benefits to the environment. It is one of the most environmentally efficient ways of producing food.
The annual oyster festival promotes local aquaculture and provides multiple educational opportunities for locals to learn about oyster production and the life cycle.
Our goal for 2025 is to have funds available to help the farmers of the Great South Bay and other Long Island farmers continue to grow more oysters.
