We have had to move away from more public ticket sales sites due to past fraudulent sites being set up and offering event tickets. Common Festival FAQ’s

  • Can I pay in person?

No, all tickets are purchased online through this ticketing software only. There will not be any tickets available to purchase at the gate.

  • Can I get my money back if something comes up or I can not attend last minute?

I’m sorry, but all tickets are non-refundable for any reason. This is a fundraiser so if you can not make it and do not have anyone you know who can use the tickets consider requesting a donation receipt. We are a registered 501c3 and your donation could be considered tax deductible if the tickets are not checked in at the festival. Email Events@BlueIslandOysters.com a week or so after the festival and we will provide you with a donation receipt as soon as we can.

  • Can I bring my child with me?

I’m sorry. All festival guests must be 21 years old. No children or babies will be permitted to enter even if accompanied by an adult.

  • Is there a wait-list I can join once the tickets sell out?

No. We do not have a wait-list. We typically do not have many, or any additional tickets that become available leading up to the festival. However, IF that does happen we will email those on our email list who have shown interest in, or have been to the festival in the past to let you know that tickets have become available. So join our email list and be sure to check off the box that you are interested in the Blue Island Oyster Festival.

  • Can I show the ticket on my phone at check in?

Yes, a digital or printed copy of your ticket can be used to check in.

  • Where do I park?

Park wherever there is legal street parking on West Ave, Atlantic Ave, & Main Street. Even better, ride your bike, or set up an Uber to drop you off right on the corner of Atlantic Ave and Shore Rd. Our address is 136 Atlantic Ave, West Sayville, NY.

  • Will you be running a shuttle?

Yes, we will be running a shuttle van from just south of the Southeast corner of Montauk Hwy & Atlantic Ave. The stop will be marked with a lawn sign so just stand and wait and we’ll be right there to drive you down to the festival on our next lap.  The shuttle will be running in a loop up and down Atlantic & West Avenue also so if you see it feel free to flag it down for a lift.

  • What kind of seating and tables are there?

Most of the areas are standing room only, but we do have a couple dozen picnic tables set up to sit at as well as numerous cocktail-style tables for you to utilize.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, No pets will be allowed into the event site.

  • When is the earliest we can check in?

Our front entry will open at 11:30 am to begin check-in, and food and beverage service begins at 12 pm.

  • Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Sorry, No coolers, or outside alcohol will be permitted to enter.

  • Can I resell my festival tickets?

You are welcome to resell them online using your personal social media pages. If you post on our pages the post may be removed so that legitimate tickets don’t get mixed up with any ticket scams posted.

  • Can we take home any decorations?

Table decorations are the property of the foundation so please don’t steal them from us. However, in addition to the basket auction, we usually have some flowers (mums & cone-flowers) labeled around the event site that you can take home if you make a donation. Grab the label from the plant and bring it up to the Blue Island merch stand or basket auction and make the donation.  Then you can take home that items you have paid for after 4 pm.
